We are firm believers that there is true empowerment in knowing where, who and what we come from. In that way, we are the decision makers of our present and our future.

Travel Experiences

We have had the distinct pleasure of traveling backpacker style. It allowed for uncommon experiences, tremendous bonding during moments of uncertainty, learning, fear and exhaustion. It has allowed us to connect with others and ourselves at deeper levels. We want to share those experiences with you, too! 

Local Experiences

While exploring the world is on the bucket list, we've learned we don't have to go far to explore culture or to find those experiences that will push us beyond our limits. There's a whole world to absorb right in our community. We want to elevate our local experiences so more people can access and participate. If you're not in the area, come visit, we have the perfect place for you to stay. 

Unpacking Identity

We've learned about our own cultural identity complexities that have resonated in so many harmful ways. It can come in between you and any goal and any relationship. It's important to unpack our identities, recognize their roots, what those roots have grown into and how to course correct. Let's end the vicious cycles.

Creating Community

Community is a precious thing to have. We find ourselves searching for people to connect with, sometimes the search comes up short and we settle for any space, even a negative space that allows us to feel like we belong. Cultura Lovers is all about creating a positive and empowering community space. One of growth, de familia.
Cultura Lovers is the brain child of Viannca Velez and Hamlet Martinez, a couple that is obsessed with learning, self-growth, healing and empowering others, especially their Latinx community.
